After my proposal being accepted from the Purdue Theatre department, I began to produce this promotional video for Purdue University. All of the video is my own footage and I edited the piece using Final Cut Pro.

The music to the video was also composed and produced by myself using Logic Pro.

I recorded the voice-over using the sound studio at Purdue University.

During my year at Purdue University I worked for Fast Track; a student led news program which is broadcasted throughout the local area via Comcast and on their YouTube channel. The show required me to produce regular news packages aimed at students and the community. In this example I focused on students at Purdue University and conducted research into the relationship between students and tattoos within certain career paths.

This is another example of my work with Fast Track. This news package focused more on the community as I spent the week covering a local bug barn which had been set up for the West Lafayette community to learn more about insects and insect related behaviour.

With this video, Boiler Productions collaborated with the Purdue Student Government to create awareness of the student crisis help line. During the filming, I helped members set up the audio and the camera equipment. During the editing process, I shadowed new members; it was a great project for new members to get familiar with Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop.

Whilst at Purdue University I was elected President for Boiler Productions; a student led broadcasting society. This was my first main project with the society and it got a great response from students, with just under 1,500 views.

We asked 50 students one question: what is one thing you want to do before you graduate? The video was then presented at the senior graduation in Spring 2014.

For the video I organised and attended every day of filming. I then edited the video alongside the Production Manager of Boiler Productions and was also responible for producing the music.

Choices was a Theatre Production at Purdue University written and directed by Rick Thomas. The piece turned the Mallett Theatre into and EDM nightclub, with the actors performing amoungst the crowd. The piece was very enigmatic during rehearsals, with the cast and crew reluctant to say anything about the performance. The director wanted the production to be a surprise to its audience but still needed to promote the show, so asked if I would create a fake news piece on Fast Track. Everyone in this video are actors and the each video clip was staged for the purpose of this promotional video. This was a great project to take on because I got to use handheld cameras and learn how to stabilize the shot on Adobe Premier during the production stage. All the music in the video is music I recorded into the camera by connecting the camera to the mixing board using an XLR cable during one of the rehearsals. The interview with The MC was conducted using a boom microphone and I used lavaliere microphones for the sit down interviews

3ETV is a live weekly chat show hosted by Margaret Sass. Each episode of 3ETV was recorded on the Purdue University campus, using their television studio. Doug Osman was the Director and Producer for the show and selected members from Boiler Productions as the shows crew. As President of Boiler Productions I attended every shooting, with my roles varying each week from Floor Director, to Camera Operator and Technical Director.

PhaNgan Animal Care (PACS) is a non-profit organisation based in Thailand. I volunteered as a video producer to create this short promotional video for the organisation, to raise awareness of the support provided to stray animals on the island. This lead to the video being aired in a local cinema and I am currently producing a short documentary on the organisation. As I work in England, I have a colleague in Thailand who is filming the footage whilst I produce and edit the video in England.
